General Accountant

Job description

\-Manage daily accounting operations, including journal entries, general ledger, and account reconciliations. \-Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. \-Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions. \-Monitor real estate project expenses, budgets, and cost allocations. \-Track customer payments, installments, collections, and outstanding balances. \-Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. \-Handle tax-related activities, including VAT, withholding tax, and other applicable tax requirements. \-Support month-end and year-end closing processes. \-Maintain accurate financial records for real estate projects and property-related transactions. \-Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. ### Requirements \-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. \-5-8 years of experience in accounting, Previous experience in the real estate sector is mandatory. \-Strong knowledge of real estate accounting, project costing, customer installments, and collections. \-Solid understanding of Egyptian accounting standards and tax regulations. \-Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. \-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. \-Strong analytical, reporting, and reconciliation skills. \-Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
