Join ibis budget Makkah Al Aziziah – Al Hidayah Towers Hotel, part of the global Accor network. Located in Makkah, 7.5 km from Masjid Al Haram, the property comprises 10 towers with 4,502 rooms and a total capacity of 21,504 guests. It primarily serves Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, both individual and group, from Saudi and international markets. The Chief Engineer will lead engineering operations, drive strategic innovation, improve operational efficiency, and ensure the highest safety and compliance standards. Responsibilities include overseeing the engineering team, establishing engineering standards, implementing preventive maintenance, and enhancing overall performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or related)
• Minimum 5 years progressive experience in engineering operations, maintenance management or senior technical role
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Excellent proficiency in English (written and verbal)
• Strong strategic planning and visionary thinking
• Experience in budget management and financial analysis
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols, building codes, regulatory compliance and industry standards
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate teams
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder management
• Results‑driven mindset with meticulous attention to detail and analytical problem‑solving
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex priorities and deliver projects on schedule
• Strong business acumen and human resources management；Project management experience overseeing capital projects and technical implementations
• Technical expertise in building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing or related disciplines
• Proficiency in maintenance management software and technical documentation systems (preferred)
• Certification in relevant engineering or safety management (preferred)
