Overseas Operations Manager (P2P)

Job description

the employer is seeking an experienced Overseas Operations Manager (P2P) to drive strategic growth and operational excellence in overseas markets. The role will lead regional P2P expansion and implement sustainable strategies. It will monitor regulatory developments and adjust plans according to competition. It will manage merchant onboarding, optimize liquidity and dispute resolution. It will collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve transaction workflows. It will monitor core P2P KPIs and conduct data analysis to identify growth bottlenecks and risks. It will track competitor strategies and propose appropriate responses.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in platform operations
• 2–3 years hands‑on P2P operations experience in overseas markets (outside Mainland China)
• strong understanding of P2P liquidity dynamics and spread formation
• strong understanding of regional payment systems (bank transfers, local e‑wallets, alternative rails)
• proven ability to adapt operational strategy based on market and competitive changes
• strong analytical skills with data‑driven decision‑making capability
• excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills
• fluent in English
• Chinese or other regional languages a plus
• experience managing regional teams, community contributors, or local operators
• strong understanding of overseas P2P fraud patterns and payment risks
• ability to independently articulate structural differences between regional P2P markets
