Cleaning Technician (PWHT Plant Experience)

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Cleaning Technician with experience in a Post Weld Heat Treatment (PWHT) plant. Responsibilities: clean PWHT furnaces, fixtures, tools, piping and associated equipment; clean fabricated components before and after PWHT using approved methods and materials; remove scale, rust, oil, grease and other contaminants from metal surfaces; operate industrial cleaning equipment including pressure washers, vacuum systems and hand tools; maintain cleanliness of work areas, workshops and storage locations; dispose of waste according to company procedures and environmental regulations; support PWHT operations by preparing equipment and work areas for production

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certificate in industrial cleaning or related technical field is an advantage
• Minimum 2–5 years experience as a Cleaning Technician in an industrial, fabrication, refinery or PWHT plant environment
• Experience with heavy industrial equipment and metal components
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment
• Understanding of PWHT plant operations and fabrication environments
• Awareness of HSE standards and safe work practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good physical fitness and ability to work in demanding industrial environments
• Basic communication and reporting skills.
