Electromechanical Technician

Job description

The role of an electromechanical technician includes supporting manufacturing, assembly, testing, maintenance and technical analysis activities. You will work with shop and laboratory equipment, electrical and mechanical systems, CNC parts, and various engineering tools. Main duties include supporting the fabrication and assembly of metallic and non-metallic components, assisting in SOURCING and fabricating CNC machining parts, assembling, testing, analyzing and upgrading electrical and mechanical systems, performing equipment maintenance and testing and maintaining relevant records, operating shop tools and equipment safely and efficiently, supporting piping installation, hydrostatic pressure testing and servicing of equipment, coordinating with suppliers and contractors for equipment maintenance and repair, maintaining asset and tool records, including tag and trace, ensuring compliance with health, safety and shop standards

Requirements

• Good knowledge of power tools, milling machines, laser cutters, filters, and drilling machines
• Knowledge of piping installation and hydrostatic pressure testing
• Experience working with 3D printers is an advantage
