Maintenance Supervisor

Job description

Join the production team at a rapidly growing company operating across multiple markets. Ensure the reliability, safety and performance of facility infrastructure equipment with particular responsibility for cooling, heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. Oversee equipment installation, operation, preventive maintenance and breakdown response across the facility. Lead the team of technicians, manage external contractors and suppliers, ensure operation and compliance of critical systems, and lead maintenance budget and asset strategy. Lead the installation, commissioning and delivery of new or upgraded kitchen and production equipment. Supervising the work of the maintenance team and technicians and setting its priorities. Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules across production, refrigeration, systems and facility equipment. Rapidly respond to equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs to minimize production downtime. Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment logs, service history, and inspection documentation. Own the performance and reliability of refrigeration and air conditioning systems across the facility. Ensure refrigeration and cold storage systems consistently support required cold chain and food safety standards. Work closely with the Quality team on equipment issues that may have implications for food safety or product quality. Manage facility maintenance budget and monitor spending against planned requirements. Maintain an accurate asset register and plan equipment replacement and official expenses before end of life. Build and manage a reliable network of qualified contractors and specialized maintenance suppliers. Negotiating and managing service agreements and response requirements with external providers. Lead root cause investigations of recurring equipment failures and implement long-term engineering or process improvements Term.
