Accountant

Job description

Responsible for invoice verification and accounting operations of active C&C contracts and projects. Verify invoices against purchase orders and contract terms; ensure complete documentation and create SAP entries with proper cost allocations; build strong relationships with vendors and internal departments and resolve discrepancies; provide accurate reports and analysis of vendor financial data and trends; continuously improve business processes; perform general support tasks within the scope of knowledge and skills

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field
• minimum four years experience in financial operations, accounting or project finance
• proficient in MS Office Suite
• proficient in SAP Finance module
• comprehensive understanding of accounting best practices and financial management
• excellent oral and written English
• ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• proven ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
