Diesel Mechanic

Job description

Responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and overhaul of diesel engines, heavy equipment, and machinery. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance following company procedures, safety standards, and client requirements. Reads and interprets technical manuals and mechanical drawings, conducts routine inspections to detect faults and ensure equipment reliability. Maintains accurate maintenance records and coordinates with supervisors and maintenance teams to minimize downtime. Supports emergency breakdown maintenance as needed

Requirements

• Diploma or ITI/Technical certification in Mechanical Engineering, Diesel Mechanics, Automotive Technology, or related field
• proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic in industrial, construction, or heavy equipment settings
• mandatory Saudi Aramco project experience
• strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, transmissions, fuel systems, and preventive maintenance
• ability to diagnose and repair heavy equipment and diesel-powered machinery
• good troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
• familiarity with HSE procedures and safe maintenance practices
• locally available in Saudi Arabia
• open to all nationalities
