Chief Accountant

Job description

Leading the accounting team and overseeing all financial operations to ensure organizational compliance and support strategic decisions. Managing accurate and timely transaction recording, preparing and reviewing financial statements and budgets according to IFRS standards and company policies. Supervising month-end and year-end closing, and complying with tax laws and internal regulations. Coordinating with external auditors and regulatory bodies, and developing accounting policies. Providing financial analysis to assist senior management, and monitoring cash flow and accounts payable and receivable. Guiding and training the team to build high efficiency

Requirements

• Proficiency in accounting and financial management standards
• strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local accounting systems
• experience with accounting software and ERP system - Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Excel
• financial analysis
• IFRS
• AWS cloud
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or a related field
• professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA or CMA preferred
• at least in a supervisory or administrative position
• excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
• high attention to detail and a high level of integrity
• ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• effective communication skills
