HSE Team Leader (Shutdown & Turnaround )

Job description

He heads the Occupational Safety and Health Management team and oversees the implementation of initiatives, programs and procedures. Develops and implements company-wide safety policies, procedures and standards and participates in the preparation and assessment of operational risks. Conducts behavioral safety audits and site inspections to ensure HSE systems are in place and monitors the performance of subcontractors. Maintains accident statistics, suggests corrective actions, and contributes to serious accident investigations. Manages subordinate activities and establishes training and audit programs to achieve project objectives

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of laws related to construction safety
• Safety experience particularly in the oil and gas sector and shutdown and restart projects
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Safety Engineering
• Certified Lead Auditor in OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001
• NEBOSH certified holder or OSHA trained
• Knowledge of AWS cloud
• Compliance with relevant standards and regulations
