Database Administrator - Tamheer Program

Job description

Join the Data Platform team as a Database Administrator Trainee. Gain hands‑on experience designing, monitoring, optimizing, securing, backing up and recovering databases. Work closely with DBAs, Data Engineers and Platform Engineers to analyze SQL query performance, support monitoring and health checks, assist with backup, recovery and high‑availability tasks, investigate incidents, conduct benchmarking, develop Python scripts for automation, validate data accuracy and integrity, prepare technical reports, and document standards and procedures. The role requires writing SQL queries with joins, aggregations, filtering and subqueries, strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, ability to compare and validate results, good communication, and a strong desire to learn database technologies and production engineering practices
