RCD Operator

Job description

To operate MPD equipment and supervise RCD operations, Assist and complete MPD rig ups, rig downs and troubleshoot issues. This includes supervising the nippling up and down of the RCD system on each well under the guidance of the WSS Supervisor, and ensuring that all procedures are followed in accordance with safety precautions and practices required.

Requirements

• 3 to 6 years RCD experience
• Good English communication skills (both oral and written)
• Proven ability to work in a team environment
• Professional manner with positive customer service attitude
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Mobile and willing to work irregular hours in a field environment
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects in order to meet deadlines
• Work history that demonstrates the ability to work effectively in both field and office environments
• Proven time and project management skills
• Proven ability to successfully lead a multiple disciplinary team
