Safety & Security Officer

Job description

• Monitor surveillance systems, alarms, and property access points. • Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify hazards or security breaches. • Enforce safety regulations and company policies (e.g., fire safety, PPE compliance). • Respond quickly to medical emergencies, accidents, or threats and write incident reports. • Train staff on basic safety procedures and emergency evacuation plans

Requirements

• High school diploma or a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Safety Officer, Security Guard, or similar role.
• Valid security license or safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH).
• Strong observational skills and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
