Asset Management Associate

Job description

We are looking for an Asset Management Associate to join our founding team and work closely with the Head of Asset Management. You will support SME deal origination, credit analysis, due diligence and underwriting. You will build financial models and prepare investment committee papers. You will monitor portfolio performance, covenants and risk indicators. You will help set up the fund’s policies, procedures and operating processes during establishment. You will coordinate with legal, compliance, the fund administrator, the custodian and auditors.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in asset management, private credit, SME or corporate banking, credit analysis or investment banking
• Strong financial modeling, credit analysis and reporting skills
• Good understanding of CMA regulations and the Saudi financial services market
• CMA qualification certificates (such as CME-1) are a plus
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
• CFA (or progress toward it) is a plus
• Fluency in Arabic and English
• An entrepreneurial, hands-on approach suited to a fund being built from the ground up
