HyCO Lead Operator

Job description

The HyCO Lead Operator supervises the operating staff during the shift and manages activities of the HYCO Steam Methane Reformer facility in Jubail. He ensures daily operational targets are met to guarantee safe and reliable plant operation to satisfy customer demand. He prepares and implements safety work permits, LOTO procedures, preventive maintenance, housekeeping, and assists maintenance and engineering teams with corrective maintenance. He acts as the shift specialist, providing technical guidance and training to the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical, Mechanical, or Chemical Process Operations with 10 years’ experience preferred
• An Associate Technical Degree (2-year certificate) will be considered based on years of experience and competence
• Experience in DCS Operation & Field Operation, with minimum of 5 years’ Lead DCS Operations
• Experience in SMR based Hydrogen or Ammonia or Methanol or Syngas plant as DCS Operator
• Proficiency with DCS platforms.
