Financial Accountant

Job description

The role manages the organization’s accounting functions comprehensively and oversees the accounting cycle in coordination with management and the external audit office. Responsibilities include monitoring client and vendor accounts; managing inventory and performing reconciliations and stock counts; preparing and following up VAT, Zakat and income tax returns

Requirements

• Experience in accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Registered with the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants SOCPA
• Experience in monitoring client and vendor accounts
• Experience in monitoring and reconciling inventory and conducting stock counts
• Good knowledge of preparing and following up VAT, Zakat and income tax returns
• Full familiarity with monthly and annual close processes
• Experience coordinating with external audit office
• Ability to take responsibility for the full accounting cycle of the organization
• Accounting techniques
• Tax regulations
• Government expenditure oversight
