Senior Network Security Engineer

Job description

Responsible for enhancing network security and infrastructure by removing unused IP addresses from F5 BIG-IP load balancers. Reviews and validates firewall policies in data centers while maintaining compliance and security. Ensures changes align with high‑availability and disaster‑recovery requirements. Performs assessments of devices, applications, and databases using public IP addresses. Classifies firewall rules and DNS entries based on business criticality. Develops detailed cleanup and migration plans with backups and rollback procedures. Coordinates with application, security, and operations teams to standardize NAT, routing, and DNS rules. Conducts post‑change testing to verify service availability and performance stability

Requirements

• Strong hands‑on experience with NGFW firewalls
• Proficient with F5 BIG‑IP including VIPs, Self IPs, SNATs, and HA
• Strong knowledge of change management, rollback planning, and risk mitigation
• Change management and compliance
