Job description
Role Summary: the employer is seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Engineer to support the delivery of a prestigious high-rise hospitality development in Makkah. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing architectural design coordination, technical reviews, construction supervision, quality assurance, and stakeholder management throughout all project phases. This role requires extensive experience in high-rise and luxury hospitality developments, with the ability to ensure compliance with project requirements, applicable codes, and international best practices while maintaining the highest standards of quality and performance. Responsibilities include: reviewing and evaluating architectural designs, coordinating architectural interfaces, monitoring construction activities, conducting site inspections, leading design review workshops, overseeing façade systems implementation, reviewing RFIs, and supporting project planning and scheduling activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related field
- 12-15 years of relevant architectural engineering experience
- minimum 5 years in a senior architectural engineering role
- proven GCC experience on high-rise developments and luxury hospitality projects
- experience working within PMC, Project Management Consultancy, or Client Representative environments is highly preferred
- ultra-luxury hospitality project experience is highly desirable
- strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and international building standards
- expertise in architectural design reviews and technical coordination
- sound understanding of façade systems, architectural materials, and construction methodologies
- experience in multidisciplinary coordination across architecture, structure, MEP, and specialist disciplines
- strong site supervision, QA/QC, testing, commissioning, handover, and closeout experience
- proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
