Cancer Care Nurse

Job description

The Cancer Care Nurse provides advanced-level nursing care in the assigned nursing unit and is responsible for supporting operational processes, including maintaining high standards of patient care, assisting in resolving complex clinical issues, mentoring intermediate-level nurses, and collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient care delivery. Their strategic role involves contributing to initiatives aimed at improving nursing practices, participating in the development of protocols and processes to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency, and pursuing high staff engagement and patient experience.

Requirements

• International Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Nursing
• Current licensure as a professional registered nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Certification Online
• ELNEC End-of-Life Care Training (To be completed within one year of hiring)
• Minimum 4 years of Nursing Experience, including 2 years in Cancer Care or related field
• Languages: English: Fully Proficient
• Arabic: Preferred
• Functional Competencies: Infection Control, Medication Management, Patient Documentation
