About the Role the employer is looking for an Occupational Safety and Health Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on developing and implementing occupational safety and health standards at work sites, identifying hazards, and ensuring a safe work environment. The role requires between two and five years of experience in the field. Objective of the Job The holder of this job aims to prepare and develop the foundations, rules and procedures for occupational safety and health at work sites. This includes identifying occupational hazards and developing procedures to avoid them, in addition to providing safety supplies and tools and monitoring their use to ensure compliance with standards. Main Responsibilities: Preparing and developing the foundations, procedures and instructions for occupational safety and health, such as safety policies and safe work and evacuation instructions, and following up on their adoption and adherence to them. Identifying mechanical, electrical and chemical hazards at work sites, and placing the necessary warning signs and posters. Preparing lists of items, quantities and specifications of occupational safety and health equipment and supplies, following up on their provision and ensuring workers’ commitment to using them. Developing work methods and procedures and keeping pace with technical developments in the field of occupational safety and health. Preparing specialized documents and reports related to engineering works and projects, displaying their progress rates and saving them in the approved database. Qualifications and Experience Practical experience ranging from two to five years in the field of occupational safety and health. Strong knowledge of the principles, rules and procedures of occupational safety and health. Ability to identify occupational risks and develop effective solutions to them. Excellent reporting and documentation skills Specialized. The work environment: The occupational safety and health engineer works in the city of Riyadh within the the employer team, in a dynamic work environment that requires adherence to safety and quality standards. The position is full-time and requires presence at work sites as needed.
