Job description

Librarians are responsible for managing libraries and implementing relevant library services. They manage information resources, collect and develop them, and make information available and accessible to all types of users. Typical tasks for this profession include: developing and updating the database of book titles in the library in a systematic and scientific manner to facilitate finding them. Classifying books and volumes according to their subjects in a systematic and smooth way to facilitate their use and reference and participation in updating them continuously. Receiving books, references, and periodicals, documenting them in the library's records, and preserving them. Lending, delivering, and receiving books from readers and users. Preparing specialized documents and reports for libraries, presenting appropriate recommendations and solutions, displaying, explaining, and saving them in their database according to approved policies and procedures.
