Responsibilities:. Sales assistants represent the direct contact with clients. They provide general advice to customers.

Typical duties of this profession:

• Sell a set of goods and services to the clients.

• Provide information on products, uses and prices.

• Monitor stock level, maintain product order in the store, issue product purchase orders and deal with imported products.

• Deal with payment matters, receive payments from customers, and process product exchange requests and returns in accordance with the set policy.
