E&I Engineer (CS)

Job description

We are seeking an experienced E&I Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in marine and shipbuilding projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing electrical and instrumentation engineering support to shipyard production teams, resolving construction and installation-related technical issues, reviewing and updating production drawings, and ensuring the accuracy, constructability, and compliance of E&I systems with project specifications and applicable marine standards. The job responsibilities include providing construction and production support for Electrical and Instrumentation installation activities, reviewing and preparing E&I engineering deliverables, and resolving technical queries and site issues.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or an equivalent engineering discipline
• 5-10 years of relevant experience in E&I engineering or construction support within marine, shipbuilding, shipyard, or offshore vessel projects
• Hands-on experience in Construction Support (CS), shipyard production support, and E&I drawing modifications
• Strong experience in electrical and instrumentation installation layouts, cable routing, equipment positioning, and associated engineering activities
• Good understanding of marine electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, earthing, cable management, instrumentation installation, and control system interfaces
• Proficiency in marine 3D design software, preferably AVEVA Marine / Hull & Outfitting, or other shipbuilding CAD software accepted by the client
