Clinical Technical Specialist

Job description

This field‑based role supports the South Region as a trusted clinical and technical partner. Responsibilities cover the patient journey from pre‑surgical planning, intra‑operative assistance, device programming, clinical education and ongoing troubleshooting. Duties include delivering practical training to surgeons, audiologists, speech therapists and support teams, facilitating workshops and educational programs, and supporting new product and software adoption. Extensive travel across the South Region and occasional travel elsewhere in Saudi Arabia is required.

Requirements

• Degree in audiology, biomedical engineering, healthcare sciences or related field, preferably audiology
• two to three years of experience in clinical audiology or a clinical, technical or customer‑facing healthcare environment
• experience supporting surgical procedures or working in surgical settings
• strong presentation, training and communication skills
• professional fluency in Arabic and English
• ability to build credible, lasting relationships with healthcare professionals
• confidence to work independently and manage changing priorities in a field territory
• valid driving licence or ability to obtain one
• willingness and flexibility to travel extensively
• current Saudi Commission for Health Specialties audiology licence
• knowledge or experience with the employer implants, hearing healthcare, ENT or implantable medical devices
• familiarity with the Saudi healthcare system, Ministry of Health structures and hospital procurement
• understanding of SFDA regulatory requirements
• experience in training or professional education for clinical audiences
• knowledge of healthcare markets in Saudi Arabia, GCC or Middle East
• experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce
• familiarity with reimbursement or health‑insurance processes.
