Service Operator I-HWO

Job description

Key responsibilities include conducting Job Safety Analysis (JSA), servicing and maintaining HWO equipment, and assisting in job operations. The job also involves maintaining general housekeeping, cleaning, and repairing equipment for the next job. HWO equipment is inspected before and after work. The job requires operating high-pressure fluid pumps and HWO support equipment, and conducting hydrostatic testing of blowout preventers (BOPs) during pre- and post-job procedures, including preventive maintenance (PM). The operator also runs the counterbalance winch and BOP control unit. The job involves working under supervision, peer mentoring, and training assistant operators. The operator must monitor control parameters and calculations before and during job requests. Preventive maintenance is performed and completed on all HWO-related equipment. The job requires good interpersonal skills and effective communication with others, basic math skills, and basic reading and writing comprehension. Basic computer skills are preferred

Requirements

• Must have completed Basic Math, Red Book, and HWO I training
• compliance with rules and regulations
• basic reading and writing comprehension
• good interpersonal skills and effective communication with others
• preferred basic computer skills
• typically 6 months of experience as an Assistant Operator II
• may require a valid commercial driver's license
