Safety Officer

Job description

The safety officer in the Saudi labor market is responsible for implementing and monitoring occupational safety and health standards in establishments in accordance with the rules and regulations issued by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. It assesses risks in the work environment, investigates accidents, and ensures workers’ commitment to wearing personal protective equipment to reduce work injuries. It also contributes to spreading the culture of prevention and implementing emergency and evacuation plans within government and private institutions

Requirements

• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in safety or occupational health engineering or equivalent
• Qualification: NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent (preferred)
• Skill: At least two years of experience in an occupational safety role
• Skill: Risk assessment and management
• Skill: Applying occupational safety and health standards (OSHA/NEBOSH)
• Skill: Incident investigation and reporting
• Location: Riyadh region
