Demand Planner

Job description

Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and business inputs. Lead the monthly sales and operations planning cycle and collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams. Analyze forecast accuracy and implement improvement actions to reduce gaps. Monitor inventory levels and ensure optimal inventory availability while minimizing excess and obsolescence. Support new product launches through forecasting and demand planning strategies. Prepare and present demand planning reports, insights, and risks to management. Collaborate with supply planning and procurement teams to ensure effective replenishment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
• more than 3 years of experience in demand planning/forecasting/supply chain
• strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel
• experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• knowledge of S&OP and inventory management principles
• strong communication and stakeholder management skills
