Field Gearbox Specialist

Job description

The primary responsibilities include communicating with customers to determine their needs and performing inspection or maintenance operations. Conducting mechanical activities on site, either individually or with client staff. Inspecting gears and auxiliary components. Replacing parts in LUFKIN gearboxes or competitor gearboxes. Rehabilitating LUFKIN gearboxes or competitor gearboxes. Troubleshooting or emergency situations as needed. Performing vibration analysis. Supervising maintenance and technical improvements. Preparing post-intervention reports

Requirements

• Must be meticulous, organized, and detail-oriented
• must be independent and able to take initiative
• must be bilingual (Arabic/English)
• must be able to travel worldwide 80% of the time
• must be able to work in harsh conditions (climate, dust) and sometimes work for extended periods
