Assistant Retail Manager

Job description

We are seeking an Assistant Retail Manager to lead our team at Bloomingdale's. You will be responsible for managing and developing the team to achieve high levels of revenue, while maintaining the brand image, operational compliance, and customer satisfaction. You will lead sales and monitor performance, identify business opportunities, and provide recommendations to achieve and exceed sales targets. You will cultivate a culture of excellent customer service, lead by example, and resolve customer complaints effectively and promptly. You will ensure that visual merchandising standards are maintained within brand guidelines, implement company expectations for standards, maintenance, and cleanliness. You will monitor market trends and competitor activity, and provide observations/recommendations to the company. You will ensure that all company policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to, and ensure that the company's health and safety standards are met at all times. You will analyze available inventory management information to maximize sales opportunities, provide and analyze reports to understand current performance trends, identify business opportunities, and ensure that buying/planning is aware of inventory-related feedback. You will prepare and implement stored inventory in coordination with the operations team, provide recommendations and manage and/or support sales promotions and brand activities through effective planning and preparation to meet expectations. You will respond to relevant parties, establish and maintain effective professional relationships with key business partners. You will understand customer profiles, ensure that feedback on marketing, buying, and planning is provided to relevant parties. You will provide leadership and guidance to team members to achieve goals and objectives, train and motivate the team to enhance performance and produce high-quality work, and ensure their continuous development for higher-level roles
