Job description

The role of the Rotating Equipment Technician includes maintaining rotating equipment in good condition. Installation, maintenance, and repair of rotating equipment and mechanical systems are carried out according to required standards. The role involves allocating maintenance activities to technical teams and coordinating work. Additionally, it includes supervising ongoing work and updating progress for the supervisor. Organizing labor resources, equipment, and materials is also part of the role. Necessary work permits must be obtained before starting. The role also involves providing technical advice to technicians for using appropriate tools and equipment. Coordination with operations, maintenance planning, and technical departments is necessary to complete tasks. Maintaining SAP data entry and updating actual hours and history is required. Daily and weekly progress meetings are attended. Strict adherence to SATORP standards and guidelines is necessary. The role includes ensuring the application of safe work practices and using personal protective equipment according to SATORP standards. Encouraging reporting of violations and unsafe conditions is also part of the role. Participation in safety audits and attending scheduled safety and technical courses is required
