Civil Engineer

Job description

The jobs in this level are responsible for performing complex assignments often requiring development of new improved products, processes or techniques mainly concerned with production/Maintenance planning and management, act as a technical reference and coordinate with other sections to ensure compliance to operation standards. This includes participating in the implementation of Operations and Maintenance unit policies, and procedures to ensure all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled, supervising the day to day operations of Operations and Maintenance department, contributing to the preparation of the Operations and Maintenance unit budget, and supervising the activities and work of subordinates. Additionally, it involves managing the implementation of complex plans, providing technical advice, guidance and oversight in the field of specialty, and conducting process management and optimization studies to enhance quality/cost and minimize process faults and variances
