Machine Operator

Job description

The operator supports the Quality Inspector and ensures product compliance with finished‑goods specifications. Cleans the line during the shift and month‑end closure. Completes the daily production report and submits it to the Production Team Leader. Sets up the machine and performs size changes. Handles raw material received or returned from the Raw Material warehouse. Verbally informs the Lead Operator and Line Setter of any machine issues. Ensures pallets, waste bin, waste trolley and raw material are placed in their designated locations. Complies with safety and environmental instructions and participates in toolbox talks conducted by the HSE officer. Participates in all applicable levels and functions of the OH&S management system

Requirements

• Comprehensive knowledge of the cutting process
• strong understanding of the printing process
• proficient in using computer applications
• expertise in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• minimum two years of hands‑on experience in cutting
• excellent proficiency in English written and spoken
• ability to work under physically demanding conditions including hot weather
• ability to work efficiently under pressure
