Principal Consultant - Fire and Life Safety

the employer Middle East is looking for a Principal Consultant - Fire & Life Safety (F&LS) to join our team. In this leadership role, you will consult regarding fire protection and life safety systems for large-scale projects throughout the region. You will develop fire and life safety strategies, manage client and stakeholder relationships, and ensure compliance with registered codes and standards, including the Saudi Building Code (SBC 201 and SBC 801), and international codes and standards (UAE, IBC, NFPA, BS, etc.). • Strategic Leadership: Provide technical and administrative leadership for fire and life safety projects throughout the region. • Design supervision: Consult on the selection of fire and life safety systems, fire detection and alarm systems, water-based fire suppression systems, clean agent extinguishing systems, smoke control systems, and passive fire protection systems for complex projects. Maintain and grow a high level of quality deliverables and communications. • Compliance and Inspection: Ensure that designs and installations comply with Saudi and international laws. Conducting audits and inspections. • Risk management: direct fire risk assessments and risk analysis. Develop mitigation strategies for high-profile projects. • Testing and commissioning: Oversee the integrated testing and commissioning of fire and life safety systems to meet INTs regulatory and design requirements. • Customer Engagement: Acts as the primary point of contact for customers. Providing expert advice and ensuring customer satisfaction Clients. • Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordination with architects, stakeholders, contractors and government authorities to ensure smooth delivery of the project. • Team Development: Mentoring and mentoring senior and junior consultants. Promoting knowledge exchange and innovation in fire safety practices. • Business Development: Support growth initiatives by contributing to proposals, attending client meetings and representing the employer at industry events. • Thought Leadership: Raising the profile of the employer's fire and life safety team through participation in conferences, publications and professional forums
