We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a major data centre project located east of Riyadh. The role will be responsible for overseeing mechanical design, installation, and commissioning activities, ensuring all works meet project specifications, international standards, and client requirements. The tasks include overseeing mechanical works including HVAC, chilled water systems, plumbing, fire protection, and associated utilities, reviewing and managing mechanical design drawings, calculations, and technical submittals, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and other engineering disciplines, monitoring site installation works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards, supporting testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems, identifying and resolving technical issues and site coordination challenges, ensuring adherence to project schedules, safety requirements, and quality objectives, and preparing technical reports and providing engineering support to the project team

Requirements

• Minimum 12+ years of experience, with proven senior-level responsibility on large-scale construction projects
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration – mandatory
• Experience on data centre, industrial, or mission-critical facilities is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems relevant to data centres (HVAC, cooling, fire protection, etc.)
• Familiarity with international codes and standards (ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.)
• Strong coordination, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced site environment
