Job description

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for the assembly, disassembly, and precise inspection of gas turbine components according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This role requires strong mechanical proficiency, attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety and quality procedures. The Assembler works collaboratively with engineering, quality, and operations teams to ensure products meet performance, reliability, and delivery requirements. The role involves assembling gas turbine components and units, performing mechanical assembly, using precision measuring tools, interpreting engineering drawings, and following documented processes

Requirements

• Technical background in mechanical or electrical assembly
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practices
• Exposure to rotor or balancing or casing alignment activities
• Familiarity with non-destructive testing (NDT) and inspection processes
• Basic understanding of gas turbine operation and performance principles
• Certification in rigging, crane operation, or forklift handling
• Basic knowledge of English language
