Regional Scientific Representative - Saudi Arabia and the Emirates

Job description

Field‑based scientific expert responsible for advancing CSL’s nephrology portfolio in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates through non‑promotional scientific exchange, stakeholder engagement, evidence‑generation support, medical education, and insight collection. Serves as the primary Medical Affairs interface with nephrologists, scientific leaders, investigators, healthcare institutions, and relevant medical and patient societies to improve patient outcomes and support appropriate use of CSL therapies. Approximately 80 % of time spent in the field with extensive travel across KSA and UAE and occasional regional or international travel. Key responsibilities include establishing trusted scientific partnerships with nephrologists and healthcare professionals; developing and executing strategic engagement plans for key opinion leaders and emerging experts; delivering balanced, accurate, compliant, non‑promotional scientific information; responding to unsolicited medical information requests per company policies and local regulations; supporting scientific exchange on approved and pipeline nephrology assets; implementing country and cluster field medical plans; engaging nephrology scientific societies and professional associations; representing Medical Affairs at national, regional, and international nephrology congresses; supporting launch excellence, lifecycle management, disease awareness, patient‑pathway optimization, and diagnostic initiatives; organizing scientific meetings, advisory boards, symposia, peer‑to‑peer exchanges, and educational activities; identifying educational gaps and addressing unmet scientific needs; systematically collecting, analyzing, documenting, and communicating actionable medical insights from healthcare professionals and societies
