Pump Quality & HSE Engineer

Job description

The engineer supports and coordinates quality assurance, inspection, health, safety and environmental activities within the Pump QRC. Ensures compliance with drawings, procedures, specifications, statutory requirements and customer requirements. Promotes a safe work environment and follows HSE practices. Performs and documents inspections to verify parts, repairs and assemblies conformity. Supports the Inspection Test Plan (ITP) and project quality plan per the employer and customer requirements. Defines, coordinates and controls project quality documentation for repairs, inspections and final release. Conducts dimensional, visual, painting and welding inspections according to procedures and acceptance criteria. Reviews supplier, welder and NDE personnel qualifications for compliance. Reviews and approves supplier manufacturing and testing documents and supports customer and third‑party inspection approvals. Prepares test and inspection requirements including ITPs and procurement specs. Documents non‑conforming material and supports NCR processing and resolution. Supports internal quality audits, root cause analysis, corrective actions and continuous improvement. Maintains accurate records, inspection reports, quality logs and release documentation. Supports operational excellence initiatives and high customer service levels. Supports implementation of site HSE procedures and safe work practices within the Pump QRC. Promotes compliance with HSE policies, permit‑to‑work requirements and risk control measures. Participates in HSE activities as needed
