Senior Specialist - Discovery to Development (E&RD Business Partner)

Job description

The Senior Specialist leads the acceleration of discovery to development by applying automation, advanced sensing, AI and subsurface analytics. The role links leading technologies with data and laboratory science to create faster, more reliable exploration capabilities. As the technical authority, it selects, validates and implements emerging technologies across the exploration lifecycle, translating oil‑gas and space methodologies into practical mineral exploration solutions. Develops a technology roadmap covering automation, advanced sensing, AI and smart drilling. Builds predictive models and deep learning to enhance data interpretation, reduce uncertainty and establish confidence‑based decision metrics

Requirements

• Proficient in Git
• knowledge of automation and advanced sensing technologies
• familiarity with artificial intelligence and advanced analytics
• experience integrating geological, geophysical and geochemical data
• knowledge of predictive modeling and deep learning
• experience developing confidence‑based decision metrics
