Procurement Specialist

Job description

The Procurement Specialist actively participates in projects and analyses that will lead to process improvements for the Sourcing Organization. Other responsibilities of the position include supporting Category Managers and Functional Directors in the implementation of category level strategies, including problem solving at the supplier transaction level and measuring supplier performance in general. This position manages one or more categories with an estimated annual spend ranging from $0-20 million. Tasks include providing analytical support and process improvements for the Corporate Sourcing group, communicating with suppliers and internal customers, and partnering to problem solve with Accounts Payable and suppliers
