Pre-Delivery Inspection Technician

Job description

Performs pre‑delivery inspection for all new vehicles according to manufacturer‑specified inspection models and delivery standards. Checks mechanical and electrical systems, fluid levels, battery health, and software status. Inspects body, paint, interior fittings, lighting, tires, and all factory‑installed equipment. Activates, configures and updates vehicle systems including infotainment and connected services. Identifies and documents damages from transport, manufacturing defects, or missing components. Carries out minor repairs immediately and escalates major technical or cosmetic issues to the workshop supervisor. Coordinates with manufacturing, paint, parts, and accessories teams to ensure repairs are completed before final approval. Installs approved accessories per company standards, confirming fit, function and final appearance. Conducts final road test if required and verifies vehicle readiness for delivery regarding fuel and electric charging. Maintains pre‑delivery inspection records, defect reports and accessory installation documentation in the dealer management system. Adheres to warranty policies, transport damage procedures and pre‑delivery audit processes. Follows workshop safety procedures, uses personal protective equipment and complies with cleanliness, health and environmental requirements. Supports continuous improvement initiatives for delivery quality, defect prevention and operational efficiency
