Pre-Sales Engineer

Job description

The Pre-Sales Engineer role involves studying tender documents, drawings, and specifications. Identifying appropriate solutions and equipment. Preparing and reviewing Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and pricing. Requesting supplier quotations and evaluating them technically and commercially. Preparing technical proposals, compliance statements, and exceptions. Calculating costs for materials, licenses, accessories, and installation. Coordinating with Sales and Projects teams to ensure clear scope of work before proposal submission and post-award

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical, or Computer Engineering or related field
• proficiency in reading shop drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
• knowledge of preparing technical proposals and Compliance Statements
• proficiency in Excel and AutoCAD
• relevant professional certifications from Huawei or Cisco preferred
• 5–8 years experience in designing and pricing IT and LC solutions
• hands‑on experience with Huawei or Cisco products, especially networking, switching, routing, and wireless communications
