About the Role Ma'aden is seeking a Technology Development Manager to join their team, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is key to translating Ma'aden's technology ambitions into measurable business value. The Director will provide enterprise leadership across a variety of technology areas, aligning specialty priorities and directing investment toward opportunities that enhance safety, productivity, reliability, growth and operational performance. Role Purpose and Impact The Technology Development Manager is responsible for creating the necessary conditions for technologies to effectively advance from discovery and validation to large-scale operational deployment. This includes integrating the work of senior specialists and leading industry experts, setting clear portfolio and governance priorities, and ensuring that technology solutions are operationally ready, certified, and sustainable. Through disciplined prioritization and strong technical leadership, this role enhances Ma'aden's ability to deploy technology at scale and build specialized capabilities for future growth and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Form and implement an integrated technology development portfolio, translating enterprise priorities into focused domain strategies, roadmaps and investments. Prioritize opportunities based on business and strategic importance, readiness for deployment, safety, risk, and scalability, balancing near-term performance with long-term capability. Integrate priorities across technology domains to reduce fragmentation, enhance synergies, and focus specialized capabilities on high-value challenges. Direct the progress of priority technologies starting with... Chasing, validating, even deploying, adopting and scaling, with clear outcomes and ownership. Create measurable value hypotheses, baselines, and performance metrics that link technology deployment to operational and business results. Ensure deployed solutions are embedded in operational workflow and tracked for sustainable adoption and value creation. Establish a disciplined operating model for the portfolio covering investment decisions, stage gates, resource allocation, risk, technical assurance and executive performance reviews. Strengthen implementation by ensuring priority initiatives have strong business cases, responsible ownership, realistic deployment plans and operational sponsorship. Resolve critical dependencies and competing priorities across functions, assets, and technology domains, and redirect resources as needed. Lead and develop senior professionals and leading experts in the field, aligning field priorities and performance with organization results. Building a high-performance culture built on safety, technical precision, precision, ability to collaborate, innovate, knowledge transfer, and discipline in delivery. Strengthen succession and significant technological capability through targeted development, external expertise and strategic partnerships. Align business units, operations, engineering, technology, innovation, and company stakeholders on technology priorities and deployment roadmaps. Provide senior leadership with a clear view of portfolio performance, value, risk and investment trade-offs. Form external technology partnerships that accelerate access to relevant expertise, solutions and capabilities. Qualifications and Experience A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
