About the job the employer Al Wasat Contracting Company is looking for a water desalination plant operator to join its team in Jubail, Eastern Province. This full-time role focuses on operating, monitoring and maintaining control systems and machinery to ensure efficient desalinated water production. Main Responsibilities Operate desalination control systems and work to remove salts and minerals to produce fresh water. Monitor control processes and systems, ensure the quality and volume of water supplies remain within pre-established limits, and take corrective action when necessary. Conducting routine inspections for preventive maintenance, diagnosing malfunctions and potential damage, and taking corrective measures. Carrying out basic maintenance work for broken or damaged parts, preparing malfunction reports for maintenance technicians or technicians, and testing equipment after repair. Adhere to applicable health, safety and environmental policies and procedures. Qualifications and Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in operating desalination plants or a related field. Good understanding of desalination control systems and operations. Ability to diagnose basic faults and carry out preventive maintenance. Commitment to occupational health and safety standards. Work Environment This job requires full-time work at a desalination plant in Jubail, Eastern Province. The operator will work within a specialized team to ensure the continuity and efficiency of station operations.
