Cost Accountant

Job description

The role involves analyzing and managing production and financial costs to ensure data accuracy. Responsibilities include analyzing the impact of design, material and manufacturing changes on cost; researching material costs; evaluating bill of materials for each product; preparing budget reports; analyzing manufacturing costs and benchmarking; reviewing costs to identify efficient methods; reviewing standard and actual costs; providing recommendations to improve efficiency and corrective actions; participating in inventory counts; analyzing profit margins; preparing periodic cost forecasts; supporting monthly and annual closing and compliance with accounting standards

Requirements

• experience in industrial sector
• proficient in Microsoft Excel
• bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
