Job vacancy for a radiologist in Riyadh, Saudi nationality, valid professional classification, ready to start immediately About this profession: Radiographers use a range of technologies to examine, treat and care for patients. They work in the fields of Medical Imaging, Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine and apply ionising radiation, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging and radioactive sources. Typical duties of this profession: • Inspect X-ray imaging devices; provide and monitor imaging requirements such as film and medicine; take personal protective measures, and schedule appointments. • Escort patients to imaging room; determine body parts to be imaged, nature of radiography, and specifications of radiology. • Install lead apron to protect body parts that should not be exposed to radiation; direct and adjust imaging equipment; select radiation exposure duration and intensity; take radiographic images. • Process and fix radiographic images, and affix basic information thereto; present the same to the radiologist. • Prepare, submit, document and archive work’s reports
