EHS Manager

Job description

We are seeking an EHS Manager to join our manufacturing site in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The role leads and continuously improves environmental compliance, process safety, and occupational health & safety, aligning with the employer's global standards and Zero Harm culture. The manager will be an active member of the employer's global EHS network, collaborating with subject matter experts and the Center of Excellence. Responsibilities include implementing and enhancing the site EHS Management System, ensuring regulatory compliance, leading process hazard analyses, risk assessments, and incident investigations, overseeing safety programs such as MOC, PSSR, permits to work, LOTO, and contractor safety, delivering training and awareness, and reporting performance to leadership.

Requirements

• Fluent English
• Arabic language skills preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety or related field
• 5–10 years of EHS experience in chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas or other high‑hazard manufacturing environments
• strong knowledge of EHS, Process Safety, Risk Management and Environmental Compliance
• proven experience driving safety culture and continuous improvement
• experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations and root cause analysis
• strong influencing, stakeholder management and communication skills
• ability to operate independently in a standalone EHS leadership role
• OSHA, NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent certification
• experience with Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Management of Change (MOC) and Process Safety Management (PSM) preferred
• Saudi nationals preferred
