Extrusion Sheet Line Machine Operator Plastic

Job description

Manage and operate extrusion sheet machines for polycarbonate sheet production. Set up machines including tools and adjust parameters before production starts. Perform routine inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot operational issues quickly to minimize downtime. Adhere to safety and quality standards throughout the process. Accurately record production data and inform supervisors of any deviations. Collaborate with the maintenance team for repairs and preventive maintenance.

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent
• technical training in plastic processing (preferred)
• proven experience as an extrusion machine operator in the plastics industry
• knowledge of extrusion sheet line machines and plastics materials
• ability to perform routine maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting
• strong attention to detail and quality awareness
• good understanding of health and safety regulations
• ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions
