Rotating Supervisor

Job description

The Rotating Supervisor organizes and supervises daily maintenance activities in the assigned area based on schedule. Ensures all activities are performed safely, effectively and within the timeframe. Allocates maintenance tasks to technicians and assembles the team; supervises ongoing jobs and updates progress to the foreman; organizes manpower, equipment and material availability; arranges required work permits before start; provides technical advice to technicians on proper tools and equipment; coordinates with Operations, Maintenance Planning and Technical departments to execute jobs; ensures SAP data entry, history and actual hours are maintained; attends daily and weekly maintenance progress meetings; complies strictly with SATORP standards and guidelines; conducts toolbox talks before work; ensures compliance with safe work practices, hazardous work regulations and PPE use per SATORP standards; encourages reporting of near misses, unsafe conditions and acts; participates in safety audits; attends scheduled safety and technical training.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years' experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – High School
• Minimum 8 years' experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – Diploma
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas facilities
• Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills
• Proven leadership skills with large organizations
• Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems
• Ability to achieve business results working in a multicultural environment
