Instrument Technician I

Job description

Leads, supervises and coordinates daily instrument maintenance activities within the assigned area. Acts as the focal point for daily instrument maintenance execution plans. Ensures compliance with SATORP safety and quality procedures during maintenance. Conducts frequent site visits to verify proper work execution. Receives directions from the Instrument foreman and translates them into actions. Follows up on maintenance progress and submits regular reports with recommendations. Keeps records of daily work against planned programs and prepares completion reports. Works with the foreman to recommend and implement improvements for instrument availability and reliability. Assists in engineering modifications to enhance instrument suitability and serviceability. Enforces SATORP policies, procedures and safety measures. Possesses strong knowledge of maintaining and repairing instrument, mechanical and electro‑hydraulic systems. Understands preventive and predictive maintenance principles and procedures. Adheres to standards, procedures and regulations for health, safety and environmental protection. Demonstrates strong communication and people skills, works under pressure, meets tight deadlines, handles multiple tasks, and commands good oral and written English. Ensures personnel have the skills, training, resources, equipment and tools to perform routine maintenance safely and effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years' experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – High School
• Minimum 6 years' experience in Oil & Gas maintenance – Diploma
• Hold a valid certification issued by a recognized third‑party certification body or an accredited Saudi institute
• Proficient technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas facilities
• Proficient organized and proactive with excellent communication skills
• Proficient leadership skills in large organizations
• Proficient judgment under pressure and problem‑resolution ability
• Proficient strategic management skills
• Proficient ability to achieve business results in a multicultural environment
• Proficient flexibility to travel internationally and reside in KSA
• Proficient oral and written English
