Job description

Role: Set up, program, and operate workshop machines to manufacture precision components from technical drawings. Ensure quality through accurate measurements, troubleshoot issues, and maintain equipment while complying with safety and production standards. Responsibilities: Receive jobs, work instructions, drawings, and specifications from the supervisor and perform the work; use appropriate tools and equipment, including specialized tools from the central tool room; operate basic machine tools such as grinder, power saw, drill press, threading machine, etc.; perform installation and maintenance tasks according to procedures and guidelines; carry out necessary testing (hydro, pneumatic, etc.); obtain required work permits before starting; maintain strict compliance with SATORP safety standards; consult the supervisor for technical issues; maintain good housekeeping during and after jobs; complete jobs to quality and schedule per company standards; comply with all safety, health, and environment procedures; report near misses, unsafe conditions, and acts; attend scheduled safety and technical training.

Requirements

• Familiarity with fabrication of components/tools
• ability to interpret cross‑sectional and dimensional drawings
• average fluency in English
• preference for candidates with CNC experience
• minimum 8 years’ experience in Oil & Gas maintenance (High School) or 6 years (Diploma)
• valid certification issued by a recognized third‑party or accredited Saudi institute
• strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas facilities
